Captain "J" Joseph is a retired airline pilot and Colonel in the United States Marine Corps. He currently serves as the Chief Pilot and Director of Flight operations for the Texas Department and is an active member of ISASI (International Society of Air Safety Investigators). He possesses over 40 years and 25,000 flight hours of aviation experience as well as 26 years of aviation accident analysis/reconstruction. As an aviator, Captain Joseph has instructional experience in all facets of aviation to include: general, military and air carrier. For over 27 years he has chaired or staffed numerous aviation departmental positions. Colonel Joseph is a highly decorated Naval Aviator. His distinguished 29-year career in the Marine Corps includes a tour with the United States Naval Flight Demonstration Squadron - the Blue Angels. While assigned to the team, then Captain Joseph, concurrently held the positions of Senior Marine Support Pilot and Squadron Safety Officer. His experience in this capacity allowed for media visibility at the national level.
